The ASUW Academics, Technology, and Sustainability Committee has been hard at work completing in depth research on this issue. Senator Josh Materi from the College of Arts & Science, the Chair of this Committee, has put together a Status Report which details this research. Please reference the Status Report from Senator Materi for the Committee’s recommendations regarding how to overhaul and/or improve the current plus/minus grading system here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxvHE7ovI2jQWVkxbTF0cG1SRWc/view?usp=sharing.
The ASUW Student Government will continue to look at how to best address this issue moving forward. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the ASUW Student Government at asuwgov@uwyo.edu. We will periodically update this issue with any progress made.

My biggest concern with the plus/minus system is the risk of losing scholarships. All my scholarships require a 3.0 until graduation in which I work very hard to maintain;however, my GPA dropped a half point alone due to switching to this system. This semester I would have received a 3.2, but now my cumulative GPA will drop again and it places me at risk losing the monies that brought me to this university. I think it would have been wise to grandfather current students in so we can graduate on time.

The ASUW Student Outreach and Policy Committee has been hard at work completing more in depth research on this issue. Senator Kadi Cooley from the College of Arts & Science, the Chair of this Committee, has put together a Status Report which details this research. Please reference the Status Report from Senator Cooley for details regarding some recommendations of the Committee to improve parking on the University of Wyoming campus here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxvHE7ovI2jQTTJTQ09uT2ZYVEk/view?usp=sharing. The ASUW Student Government will continue to implement a few of their recommendations. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the ASUW Student Government at asuwgov@uwyo.edu. We will periodically update this issue with any progress made.

As an art student, parking around the Visual Arts building is frustrating. The lot in-between the Art Museum and Visual Arts building is for any paid permit; however, the north parking lot require an A or C permit, and is barely used. I would be more than happy to pay $10-$20 a semester to use that lot, so I don't have to carry my projects from a half mile down 22nd.
